Hi. I am MASAKO MORITA, a consultant for restaurants and bars with hands-on business support.

I had been running 2 Mexican bars about 17 years in Shinsaibashi, Osaka, a hotspot for restaurants and bars. I handed over 2 bars to my staff and now I work as a consultant for restaurants and bars.

MASAKO is known as one of the leading Tequila experts in Japan and started consulting for restaurants and bars with her wide range of experiences and expertise. She provides solutions for management problems faced by owners such as how to open a restaurant/bar, how to communicate with staff effectively and how to set up a restaurant/bar with a different concept as well as how to create a popular restaurant/bar with staff working in good mood.

While in university, she worked at many restaurants for her tuition and to study abroad. After graduation, she studies in Canada. While studying in Canada, she visited Mexico and fell in love with the country. Since then, she kept having a dream of doing something to do with Mexico and she finally opened her Mexican Bar "Bar Cactus" in 2003.

She made Bar Cactus become popular when Tequila was not highly recognized in Japan. In 2011, she opened her second bar "Cactus Cantina". Her career as the owner as well as a bartender lasted until 2020 and now, she works as a consultant for restaurants/bars and also as a Mexico-related business promoter.
